Micro-Blaze® F·O·G
Helps Septic Systems Run Right!

A septic system can be a real headache for a homeowner.
Off-odors, clogs and tank cleanouts are costly and time con-
suming chores that most people would like to avoid.

Keep septic systems and drain lines running and odor free
with new, environmentally sound Micro-Blaze® F·O·G.

Applying Micro-Blaze® F·O·G into a septic system on
a monthly basis helps households cut out odor
problems and slow drains often associated with this
type of wastewater treatment.

  • Easy to Use
  • Pleasant Smell
  • Will Not Discolor Surfaces or Fittings
  •  Rids System and Lines of Off-Odors

  • Will Not Corrode Pipes and Lines

  • Will Not Etch Plastic, Porcelain, or Tile Surfaces

High amounts of greases and oils can overpower your systems, clogging the field lines, causing that "sewage smell" and even creating backups into the house.  Large amounts of bleaches and other caustic cleaners can impact a septic systems efficiency.

Directions:  For 500- to 1000-gallon systems, an initial inoculation of a total of one quart of fresh-scented Micro-Blaze® F·O·G poured down among the house lines can remedy the situation, replenishing the system with millions of beneficial microbes that help cut down the septic system tank scum buildup and knock out odors. Thereafter, add a total of 8 ounces monthly divided among the house lines to keep the system free-flowing and free from odor buildup.

What is Micro-Blaze® F·O·G?

Micro-Blaze® F·O·G is an environmentally sound formulation of surfactants, nutrients and safe to use, non-pathogenic microbes.  Micro-Blaze® F·O·G contains Micro-Blaze®, which is on the United States Environmental Protection Agency [EPA] National Contingency Plan Schedule as a bioremediation agent.  Micro-Blaze® microbial products have been used in industrial and governmental applications for over 10 years. You are assured of a quality product from an established company when you use Micro-Blaze® F·O·G

How does Micro-Blaze® F·O·G work?

Micro-Blaze® F·O·G goes to work by actually digesting the organic wastes that are clogging the drains and lines.  Most septic treatment products contain enzymes.  Enzymes will only liquefy the waste; it will not digest it.  Micro-Blaze® F·O·G’s microbes will produce their own enzymes which help them to digest the wastes, changing it into harmless byproducts of carbon dioxide and water.  It also helps to eliminate the “off odors” and “sewer smells” that are caused by sluggish or clogged drain lines.

How often do I need to use
Micro-Blaze® F·O·G?

After your first dosing of all your toilets and drains, a once a month dose of Micro-Blaze® F·O·G will keep your drains fresh smelling and your lines free flowing.

Will it harm my septic system?

No, the microbes in this product work together to clean the wastes in your septic system.  They enhance your system’s existing microbial populations.  Click here for the MSDS.

Is Micro-Blaze® F·O·G safe for my marble sinks?  What about my plastic plumbing?

Micro-Blaze® F·O·G has an almost neutral pH -- it is not highly caustic or acidic, as are many household cleaners.  It will not harm metal, porcelain, fiberglass, marble, or synthetic and plastic sinks, drains or lines.  Use normal cleaning procedures when pouring down toilets, sinks and drains.  Micro-Blaze® F·O·G is great to use in drains and toilets in RVs and boats.

My washing machine line backs up when I wash clothes.  Why is this happening?

Your drain line for your laundry appliances may be clogged with undissolved laundry soap and the greases and oils from clothing.  Micro-Blaze® F·O·G has been helpful in unclogging such lines.  When a backup occurs, slowly pour a half-gallon of warm water mixed with 4 ounces of Micro-Blaze® F·O·G down the laundry drain.  Drain lines have been completely cleaned within 48 hours using this method.

Will Micro-Blaze® F·O·G eat the tree roots in my drain lines?

No, the microbes do not recognize the living roots from trees and shrubs as food.  They will, however, digest wastes trapped in the roots, allowing the drains to flow more freely.
