Micro-Blaze® Emergency Liquid Spill Control is 
Cleanup Agent for Greece's Athens Int'l Airport

The Athens {Greece} International Airport [AIA] has awarded a two-year contract to combat their various hydrocarbon spills whenever and wherever they occur to local Micro-Blaze® products distributor ENVIRKAT. Micro-Blaze® Emergency Liquid Spill Control will be the cleanup agent for these  incidents. Maria Kypriotzoglou of ENVIRKAT said “The product is fantastic!  It reacts at an accelerated rate to biodegrade a spill given the favorable climatic conditions here in Greece.” 

Rated one of the top airports in Europe, Athens International Airport (AIA) has extremely stringent environmental management criteria and controls.

 AIA was the first airport in the world to be granted ISO 14001 certification, prior to its opening in March of 2001.  Maria continues, “for our company to be given this contract, we had to pass all sorts of environmental testing including a difficult MSDS checklist approval as well as on-site screening and testing of Micro-Blaze® Emergency Liquid Spill Control.  The efficiency of the product and the favorable environmental characteristics it possesses granted us this prestigious contract.”
